The herb called Punarnava which means renewal or rejuvenate....
We call it Makuru Makuru or Ndaru ọgwụ or..... From my part of Igbo Land.
This herb is one among the king herbs found in the garden of herbs..

Punarnava plays a vital role when it comes to renewal of the body system, it cleanse the kidney and liver for proper functioning.

It has a diuretic effect which help to reduce fluid retention which cause or have caused oedma/Dropsy/Swollen of Body....

Its also a good remedy for
URINARY TRACT INFECTION as a Diuretic herb..
It's very good for respiratory problems like Bronchitis and Asthma....

As the name implies Punarnava or Ndaru ọgwụ is an anti poison either of Food poison and spiritual poisoning, it will rejuvenate your body systems and get rid of the toxins..

You can use this plant to revive a fainted person ,or someone freezed in cold or someone in coma, or someone is rumoured dead and you want to be sure before informing the public or even burying the co**se..

NB= > Take two leaf from this plant after saying your pure intention/wishes/prayer to it, either with 2cowries or old note/coins currencies, drop the token with you on the floor .
Then Take 2leaflet from the tree and Drop the white sap from the leaf into the patient nostrils and give some minutes break...and be watchful..!!

Secondly, make a decotion of the tree bark and roots either in water/Original manya Akamere (ogogoro) and store in a bottle , keep it safe as antivenom/poison from snakes and her sisters, Once victimised apply externally to the surface of bite and seek a herbal practitioner for internal dose....
