Did you know that a comprehensive eye exam includes checking the anterior chamber of your eye?
At Vision Matrix Eye Clinic, our experienced optometrists use advanced technology to examine the anterior chamber, helping us detect potential issues before they become major problems.
What is the anterior chamber?
The anterior chamber is the space between the cornea (the transparent front part of the eye) and the iris (the colored part of the eye). It's filled with a clear fluid called aqueous humor that nourishes the cornea and lens.
Why is an anterior chamber examination important?

Uveitis (inflammation of the uvea)

Infection or disease
During an anterior chamber examination:
Our optometrists will use a specialized microscope to examine the anterior chamber for any abnormalities.
