[10/6, 7:47 PM] Afolabi Iyabode: WHAT IS ULCER OR STOMACH ULCER: This is an health issues that affects the lining of the stomach; a sore that develops on the lining of the oesophagus, the stomach and the small intestine. It occur when the stomach acid damages the lining digestive tract: Common causes are: ba bad bacteria called helicobacter philory, anti inflammatory pain reliever like aspirin, diclofenac and ibuprofen. Other causes are fasting and not eating well and excess use of antibiotics. Stress and spicy food do not cause ulcer, they only irritate it.

Loose weight if you are overweight. 2. Avoid trigger foods like coffee, chocolate, raw tomatoes, fatty, fried and spicy foods. 3. Reduce antibiotics as they tend to kill the good bacteria in the stomach and if you do, take probiotic after completing the drug. 4. Stop smoking and alcohol. 5. Avoid or stop the use of anti inflammatory drugs. 6. Avoid or stop carbonated drinks, sweet and surgary foods and drinks and artificial sweeteners.
