What does it looks like?

Between rushing to school, work, and house chores, many families are running on low fuel.

We feed the body but starve it of real nourishment, rest, prayerful pauses, and natural meals. Our children watch how we care for ourselves that’s their first wellness lesson.

A healthy home doesn’t only start from the kitchen; it also starts from mindful parents.

Wellness is more than eating greens

it’s about creating routines that protect mental, emotional, and physical health.

It’s noticing when someone needs a hug, when to slow down, when to sit together for a meal without screens. It’s about laughter, intentional conversations, and showing gratitude even in small moments.

Ever wondered what your heart really does besides beating?

Let’s talk for a second.

You eat, breathe, move around... but do you know how your heart powers all of that?

Understanding how your heart works isn’t just for doctors. It helps you know what’s normal, what’s not, and how to take better care of your body.

Here’s the gist no boring science talk:

- Your heart is like a pump with 4 rooms 2 on the left, 2 on the right.

- Fresh, oxygen-rich blood comes from your lungs into the left side.

- The heart pumps it around your body to your brain, hands, liver… everywhere!

- As it moves, blood drops oxygen and picks up waste like carbon dioxide.

- That used blood comes back into the right side of your heart.

- From there, it heads to the lungs to drop the waste and grab fresh oxygen again.

- Then it returns to the left side, and the cycle continues.

Your blood is like a delivery guy it drops off the good stuff (oxygen) and takes out the trash (carbon dioxide).

But if that system breaks?

- No oxygen? You’ll feel weak, dizzy, maybe faint.
- Too much Carbon dioxide? It builds up, affecting your breathing, brain function and in severe cases, can lead to stroke or coma.

Good circulation means:

✅Healthy heart
✅Lower stroke risk
