This page is about miracles, messaging, and a fundamental truth that got lost in translation.
Verse 46 opens with something extraordinary: A baby will speak. Not when he's grown. Not when he's learned language. But in the cradle. Jesus will open his mouth as an infant and speak to people with wisdom and clarity.
Think about how shocking this must have been for Maryam. You're holding a newborn. The community is already scandalized—they think you've done something immoral. And then your baby starts speaking. Speaking in full sentences. With understanding. This isn't just a sign for the people around Maryam. This is a sign for all of human history.
Verse 47 captures Maryam's fear. She asks: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?" It's a genuine question born from biological reality. And Allah's response is profound: "So (it will be) for Allah creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: 'Be!' and it is."
This is the cosmic truth we learned on Day 53. Allah doesn't work within human limitations. When He decides something, He simply says "Be" and it is.
Then verses 48-50 describe Jesus' mission. Allah will teach him the Book, wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel. And he will come to the Children of Israel with signs—creating birds from clay by Allah's permission, healing the blind, healing the l***r, raising the dead. He will be a messenger with proof from Allah.
But here's what's critical—and this is where the message got confused over centuries. Verse 51 is Jesus' own declaration: "Truly! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him (Alone). This is the Straight Path."
Jesus isn't saying "Worship me." He's saying "Worship Allah." He's a messenger, a teacher, a servant of Allah sent to call people back to the worship of the One God.
And verse 52 shows what happened: When Jesus came to know of their disbelief, he asked his followers: "Who will be my helpers in Allah's Cause?" And the disciples responded: "We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims."
Wait. Muslims. The disciples called themselves Muslims. Because Muslim means "one who submits to Allah." That was the message of Jesus in that moment—submit to Allah, not to me.
This page is asking: What's the core message you're following? Is it a person? Or is it the worship of Allah alone? Because every messenger—from Jesus to Muhammad to all in between—came with the same message: There is nothing worthy of worship except Allah.
💚 Read Page 56. Ask yourself: Have you been following a person or following a message? Are you a helper of Allah or a helper of someone else?
