The Big Question: Who has the ULTIMATE AUTHORITY to define what is "permitted" in your life—your Creator or your own assumptions?

​The human tendency to invent religious restrictions is a dangerous form of DECEPTION. Many create their own rules about what is "forbidden" or "sacred" based on nothing but their own whims, even going as far as to invent lies about what Allah has commanded (Q6:138). These arbitrary laws regarding food and livestock are not just errors; they are an INJUSTICE against the truth, and those who fabricate them will be compensated for their inventions (Q6:139). History shows that those who kill their children out of ignorance and invent LIES against Allah have truly lost their way (Q6:140).

​True PROVIDER and Designer is Allah alone. He is the One who produces gardens—both trellised and untrellised—along with palm trees, crops of varying tastes, and olives and pomegranates (Q6:141). We are commanded to enjoy the fruit when it ripens and to pay the DUE on harvest day, but we must never be WASTEFUL, for Allah does not love the extravagant (Q6:141). From the livestock, He has provided for burden and for meat; eat what He has provided and do not follow the footsteps of SHAYTAN, who is your clear enemy (Q6:142).
