The American Hearts Association (AHA) has developed guidelines on infectious disease prevention & control for all courses.

Electricity and Water: A dangerous combination☠☡
One can become electricity's path to the ground if you're touching water that touches electricity. Electricity will travel through the water, through you and to the ground. This is injurious to the body.
What you should do?
- Never use electrical equipment if your hands or feet are wet or on a wet surface.
- Never step into a pool of water on the ground if you do not know the environment well or you suspect a loose cable around the area...find an alternative route.
- it's raining, turn off all electrical sockets when not in use. Change that cable, don't tape it.
