*Psalm 37: More Than Enough*
Psalm 37:18-19 Day by day the Lord takes care of the innocent, and they will receive an inheritance that lasts forever. They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough.
When God is your provider, always make room for more than enough. God does not just satisfy our needs, He exceeds them. He does exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or even imagine. There are historical antecedents to God's excessive supply. When the Israelites were hungry in the wilderness, He fed them with manna and quials that were more than enough to satisfy their daily needs. When the Israelites were thirsty in the wilderness and found the bitter water, the Lord made their water fit for drinking, and immediately after that, He led them to 12 springs of water.
When Jesus taught the multitudes, he observed that they have spent enough time with him and it would be unfair to send them away without ministering to their welfare needs. However, there were no enough resources to satisfy the needs of the multitudes. A little boy's lunch was placed in the hands of Jesus, and he fed the multitudes to their satisfaction. When the leftovers were gathered, there were 12 baskets full. This same miracle was repeated in another account where Jesus fed four thousand men.
The Psalmist says: "Day by day the Lord takes care of the innocent, and they will receive an inheritance that lasts forever. They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough." When God is your daily provider, even in the face of famine, your provision is already guaranteed. God knows how to command the resources of the earth to your advantage. He knows where the earth cannot drink up the water. He knows where to plant and water you such that you will never wither nor die.
In Psalm 1:3, the Psalmist says the righteous is like a tree that is planted by rivers of waters. The need of a plant for survival is just water. For God to plant the righteous by the rivers of waters indicate His more than enough provision to sustain the righteous. As you arise this day, break that limitation mentality that you have developed. God is your provider and He is providing for you in more than enough measures. When others talk of limitations and famine, lean on God's provision of more than enough. You will experience more than enough provision in Jesus' name, Amen.
*Confession:* I operate on the blessings of more than enough. When others are experiencing famine, God will grant me an abounding supply. When others are experiencing drought, God will plant me by the rivers of many waters. I will keep prospering and abounding because God has pronounced His more than enough provision on me and my family. Thank You Father, Hallelujah.
*As we begin this glorious year 2026, it is my prayer that you will abound graciously in the provisions that God has reserved for you. Have a Psalmspired and Psalmsplified 2026. Happy New Year*
