Strength In Mind Fitness When you find the strength in your mind to commit to your goals, you can begin to sculpt the best version of you. My mind was geared toward getting stronger.

I'll teach you information based in science to strengthen the fitness and nutrition habits that can last a lifetime. Throughout my fitness journey, I have been on a never ending pursuit of strength. Whether that be a pursuit of physical or mental strength, I have learned so many lessons along the way. These lessons have helped me shape my Lifestyle and Physique consulting business into an undeniable force of success that encompasses both your mental health along with your physical health. Without strength in your mind to commit to your goals, you cannot expect strength in your body. They're forever intertwined. While it started with a unstoppable desire to gain physical strength in the gym, my mental strength faltered when I found myself spiraling into an eating disorder (refer to blog post on my transformation story). When this caused a decline in my hard earned strength in the gym and interfered with valuable relationships outside of the gym, I realized something needed to CHANGE. My life couldn't revolve around food and the gym. (And neither should yours!) Improving the strength of my mind by treating my disorder slowly gave me the ability to start posting about my transformation. It helped me realize the power of combining both mental health and physical health as a message and inspiration to help others who may be experiencing much similar circumstances. In order for your body to thrive, you need to create a healthy relationship with food, your mind, and your body. I know from experience that all of the information out there can be confusing. Trying to figure out what to do to reach your goals is hard when so many people say you should do it their way or no way. What's really important is finding what works for YOU. (ATTENTION: If you are truly struggling with an eating disorder, I can provide you with more resources to get help. I do NOT claim to be a therapist but instead aim to help individuals who may be falling down that path and need information based in SCIENCE and good nutrition to finally meet their personal goals.) I understand that the culture today creates a desire to be smaller; a lesser version of you. But why not strive to be MORE - to be BETTER than you were the day before? It's all about making small, sustainable changes every day. We always set such high expectations for ourselves that we get discouraged before we truly see how far we've come. I want to be there to help you set and achieve your goals. I want to help you stay accountable and never lose hope in your ability to succeed in whatever you set your mind to. With the strength in your mind comes the strength in your body!

I just did my taxes by myself for the first time yesterday... and to say I was stressed is an understatement 🤯

How are you feeling? Has something been causing a little more stress than usual?

I spend a lot of time speaking to busy executives and companies about how to manage their health and I ALWAYS start with a conversation on stress.

Why? Because chronic stress has a major impact on our both our mind and body.

When we’re stressed, the hormonal responses designed to save us from a major threat will begin to throw many other systems off balance.

Before you know it, your sleep is out of whack, your nutrition gets thrown on the back burner, and your body stops recovering optimally. In the worst cases, chronic stress is even related to cardiovascular disease; the number one killer in our nation.

For right now, if you think it will help, I’d like to give you a few ideas that I share with clients and groups.

All you have to do is scroll through the 4 steps above.

I plan to go into more detail on how to tackle your stress if you’re ready to take some serious action.

Sometimes we just need a little reminder of the small steps we can take first, even if you’ve heard them in the past, before we can really dig into the deeper issues.

Do you ever become so consumed in your thoughts that you forget to speak, even though your speech can reflect who you are?

Maybe you genuinely want to speak, but for some reason you just can't?

Maybe that's why you write. You write and hope someone else understands that you feel the same way.

You write to have a voice for yourself and for others.

Anxiety is a curse when you thrive on connection. True, deep, below-the-surface connection.

Sometime along the way though, you meet the people who bring out who you are. They let you be.

Soon you realize that's all that matters.

Those who deserve to see you, will.

You don't have to hide. You just have to be.
