Hello gorgeous people —

Just a little update, since it has been a little while. Recovery from surgery went well and I am now back to full capacity. I’ll be figuring out my availability next week and re-opening my books for appointments. Also, the website is having some technical difficulties, but I should be able to resolve those soon.

The call came, and I’m off the waitlist for one of my gender affirming surgeries! I’ll be going in for surgery on 9 February, so if you want to get in a session or two before then, book before it’s too late! ♥️

We have exciting things in the works! Slowly but surely, we are building up steam to make a dream project a reality. We are working on bringing more affordable bodywork sessions to q***r folks in need, performed by q***r bodyworkers, once a month. REDEFINE BODYWORK.
Yesterday I was called into my body with softness and care under the tattoo machine of the incredibly talented .artsi. It has been years since I was last tattooed. As the lines were drawn in my skin, I meditated on the idea that bodywork can be so many different things. If it brings you back into physicality, it can be bodywork. If it helps you feel good in your body, it can be bodywork. I love this notion of q***ring and expanding the definition of bodywork, and exploring what helps us connect with our bodies. I’m in love with the new ink and feeling so grateful. ♥️

I am so happy to be sharing this update. I ecstatically present to you: our Specialties page. After months of mental “backburner simmering” on how to structure RTB’s bodywork sessions model, inspiration finally struck. I had wanted a model that intrinsically conveyed our values, our target demographics, the highly tailored nature of our bodywork sessions and our modalities. This has manifested in the form of our Specialties page, combined with booking sessions by length only, as opposed to booking by single modality. Every session often pulls from multiple techniques in the desire to co-create an experience that is truly individual for you and what you need that day. It fills me with pride to express where my heart lies through RTB’s structures and workings. This wouldn’t have been possible without the experiences and stories of my clients, knowing who we are and how we show up in the world. I am feeling grateful for those collaborative relationships and the ability to give back to the communities I hold dearly.
