📮🎗️ Commemorative stamp marks World AIDS Day in Ukraine!
and Ukrposhta have unveiled a special commemorative postage stamp at the Media Center Ukraine to mark World AIDS Day.
The new awareness issue illustrates nearly every stage of HIV infection and underscores the commitment to reminding people about the importance of regular testing and early diagnosis.
💬 "We can only overcome this challenge together. And it's important to underscore that the fight goes on," said Country Program Director, AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF Ukraine), Yaroslava Lopatina.
Nataliia Mukhina, who leads the Stamped and Philatelic Products Department at Ukrposhta JSC (Укрпошта), noted that the stamp's release highlights the role of information in saving lives. It is now available for purchase through the company's online store.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all our country representatives and partners who participated in our workshop dedicated to access of migrants to public health services, especially HIV services.
Your expertise, commitment, and willingness to work together made this meeting truly meaningful.

The topic of migrant access to healthcare remains highly relevant and urgent. Many people on the move still face barriers that prevent them from receiving the medical support they need, including HIV prevention, testing, and treatment. By joining efforts, sharing best practices and strengthening cooperation, we can change this reality.

In just a few days, the world will commemorate - a moment to reflect, raise awareness, and reaffirm our determination to end HIV stigma and ensure access to care for everyone, everywhere.

This week, AHF Europe brought together partners and representatives from Greece, Lithuania, Portugal, England, and Poland in Athens for a two-day workshop focused on migrants’ access to healthcare.
The topic is highly relevant for all our countries: the number of migrants from different regions continues to grow, yet access to medical services remains extremely challenging - and unfortunately, it is getting worse each year.
Throughout the workshop, we are sharing experiences, discussing key challenges, and exploring practical ways to improve the situation. A special focus is placed on ensuring equitable access to HIV testing, prevention, and treatment services, which remain a critical lifeline for many migrant communities.
Work in progress - and together we’re building solutions that matter.
