Today is Black Friday, and you’ve probably noticed.
Your inbox and your timeline might be full of countdowns, urgency and pressure messages like “buy now”, “last chance” and “don’t miss out.”

Earlier this week, we shared something different with our newsletter community:
a gentle reminder about why Sticky Me doesn’t join Black Friday.

One of our lovely Sticky Me members replied with something that reminded us.
She said Black Friday never felt right to her,
because Friday is our Jumu’ah – a blessed day.
And the word “black” doesn’t reflect its beauty at all.

At Sticky Me, we don’t join Black Friday. We never have.
Not because we dislike sales,
but because Islamic tools shouldn’t become part of fast-consumption culture.

What we create is intentional.
Tools that nurture your child’s heart,
that bring iman into everyday moments,
that help you build a gentle, meaningful Islamic environment at home.

Those aren’t things we ever want to rush or reduce to a timer.

I’m taking you with me in the makeover of my office.
The place where I spend most of my time.

We’re starting with the workstations, because that’s where my day actually happens.

I didn’t just want a space that looks nice…
I wanted a space that reminds me of Allah SWT while I’m working.

So the first thing I added is the Dua sticker from StickyMe.

It’s Jumu’ah 🤍 And one of its beautiful sunnahs? Ghusl.
