Working visit!

While welcoming youth workers from Croatia and France, VIBE Netherlands wanted to show them who they work with.
That's why a working visit was planned to the TEJO Huis in Breda, where young people with mental health issues are always welcome and receive support from well-trained volunteers.
What an inspiring meeting!

🌐 International Youth Day 2025: “Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond”

This year’s UN theme reminds us that global change begins at the local level — and young people are leading the way in communities everywhere.

We’re proud to be running impactful projects that empower youth across vital areas:

Mental Health — nurturing emotional resilience and creating safe spaces for speaking up.

Digital Well-Being — healing digital wounds, combating online harms, and promoting mindful connectivity.

✨ Personal Branding — helping young people articulate their strengths, values, and vision with confidence.

While we uplift youth action, it’s essential to spotlight the youth workers behind the scenes — the mentors, guides, and advocates who nurture potential and fuel change.

To all youth workers: your dedication transforms energy into impact. Thank you for lighting the path forward.

This week we’re coming together for No Hate Speech week. Let's challenge stereotypes, promote understanding, and build bridges.

The presence of different stakeholders provides networking opportunities that can enable a comprehensive and multi-stakeholder approach to preventing and combating hate speech in the 46 Council of Europe member states.

This week is an EU-CoE joint project, supported by the Maltese Presidency of the Council of Europe.

The Power of International Collaboration
🌍 This project brings together partners from the Netherlands, France, and Croatia — each with their own expertise in youth work, human rights, and psychosocial support.

Together, we’re:

Defining what ‘digital wounds’ really are
Mapping youth needs across contexts
Co-developing a practical guide that’s useful across Europe
This collaboration allows us to create tools rooted in diverse realities — but with a shared goal: helping youth heal in the digital age.

Why This Project Matters for Young People
📱 Young people face increasing pressure in digital spaces — from cyberbullying and hate comments to unrealistic beauty standards and constant comparison.

With Healing Digital Wounds, we’re exploring how digital experiences impact young people mentally, and how to strengthen their psychosocial resilience.

Our aim? To empower, not to alarm. By supporting youth in navigating the digital world, we help build long-term emotional strength.

What Young People Are Telling Us
“Sometimes I just want to log off and disappear.”

During our youth sessions, we’ve heard some tough but honest reflections. Social media can be overwhelming. Healing Digital Wounds creates space for these stories — and for finding healthier ways to be online.

Let’s Talk About Digital Empathy
Feeling with others — online

Digital empathy means understanding how others feel — even behind a screen. It's the opposite of trolling or cancel culture. When we listen and respond with care online, we help create spaces that support healing instead of harm.
