Washing Without Water Products. Proper hygiene for ICU and bedridden patients reducing risk of cross

Swash is a product which consists of disposable bath wipes and gloves which are impregnated with a speial lotion. These wipes are used primarily to bath bedridden patients in lieu of water, soap, wash-basin, and cream. It is much more enjoyable for both patient and care giver as it is a one step process and gives a soothing feeling to the skin. It also is more hygienic as there is no spillage of water or reusing of any materials.

𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming some of our distribution partners and their customers to Arion HQ for a two-day Swash® experience.

Together with colleagues from Didactic - Medical Devices and Hygie, we focused on sharing knowledge, gaining deeper insights and new perspectives.

We started with a tour of our in-house production facilities, followed by training sessions and key takeaways on infection prevention.

On day two, we visited Zuyderland Hospital, where we connected theory to real-life practice through a tour and an insightful presentation.

While the focus was on sharing knowledge and gaining insights, there was also time for great conversations, informal moments and, of course, good food.

These days, with conversations, learning and shared perspectives reflected a strong drive for continuous improvement and collaboration.

De beste manier om feedback te krijgen over het product dat je op de markt brengt, is door in gesprek te gaan met de mensen die er het meest mee te maken hebben. In ons geval zijn dat de mensen die ondersteuning ontvangen of geven bij de persoonlijke dagelijkse verzorging.

Robin Neele en Sylvia Nagtzaam van Sjaloom Zorg, een zorgorganisatie voor mensen met een verstandelijke, psychiatrische en/of lichamelijke beperking, deden een pilot met de Swash® Perineum producten bij een aantal cliënten.
