Day 9/12:
Snow! Frozen water starts to embody and wash away the debris and the bad energies from last New Year’s Eve. And that’s needed. Like the snake shedding one more time her skin, to curl up after that and hibernate for the coming years. The hooves and thunder from the fire horse is at the horizon, coming closer.
The energy of the fire horse, is outward, Yang, cleaning, based on action.
We need strong morals and values to guide this energy. We need also a community feel - a togetherness. More and more I realise: there is only we. And that means I need to meditate and pray with and behind the fears and horrors I hear, see, feel - witness - on our beautiful earth.
That’s my way, since I’m no soldier, politician or communal leader. And I try to be Love and Light for the kids I teach. Our future…..

Day 8/12:
After New Year’s Eve festivities and great being together with our friends, the Dutch news on Channel 1 feels freezing and ice harted. Police got attacked with illegal firecrackers. Fireworks in all
Big Dutch cities out of control. Church burnt down in Amsterdam. Youngster of 16 died in Nijmegen. My youngster was one block away from that causality…
It makes me so sad and at the same time white of rage.
These excesses hit on essential questions of social, moral and communal manor. How on earth is it possible that a country cannot control their youngsters on a night which should be festive and gay.

Again and again…
I’ll keep telling myself: Do.The.Work.

Move first. Then go inward.
Breathe and meditate.
Use your mental powers.
Pray for the innocent.
Give unconditioned love to the parts of the kids, which are on the shadow side.
Make your light calm, to prepare the ground for change. From out of the dark towards the light, instead of blinding with it.

Tumbling in the air! Train to become better at capoeira. Feel and embody the elements. Go with the flow. Respect your boundaries. Tip of the day: stretch the soreness and pain away, in a soft manner.

Day 3/12:
Changes and shifts make you resonate differently with your surroundings. Also in friendships and connections with the family.
It’s a good day to remember what to keep and what to let go. I keep the laughter, love and light. I let go the the sorrow, grieve and pain. And I free others from me. Sometimes paths go in a different way as expected. So be it. Blessed with reiki.
Tip of the day:
Take a stroll. Outside. Linger and don’t cross one way twice.

Day 2/12:
Insights and deep
thoughts. I feel like I know again what’s at stake and what not. I hear the thunder of horse hoves for the year to come. They’re rhythmic galloping towards our inner vision. The silhouette of the white equines are showing in dreams. Ideas and star seed create possibilities. The future will show what’s to come!

Tip of the day: collect your dreams and insights. Easy style. In a booklet of your phone :-)

Wonderful 12 Nights!

Day 1/12:
This year I am experiencing a melting pot in sensations. From lucky and generous in gratitude, to harsh in emotional feelings of grieve and thundering rage. All there.
The wisdom of the snake last year, the symbolism is lent from the Asian lunar calendar and yearly according animal, changes to the horse. That majestic animal with outgoing yang quality. And the snake is shedding one more time her skin. One last transition and up for a new round in seasons and moons.

Tip of the day? Breathe. Focus on air coming out. Make the breath one count longer out then in. Try to come to 7 counts out, pause, 8 counts in.
This is the breath of the Mother Earth Rhythm. Helps you ground and sink in your body. 🎵

Wonderful 12 Nights!

II have this mesmerising picture in my mind: the first time I saw the stars reflected in the Mediterranean Sea.
The surface was like a swimming pool: flat. And the magic began when we went swimming. The stars moved around us, when we entered the water. We played with the reflections by making the surface crinkle and move. The viscosity of the salty water gave an extra layer of magic. And okey - maybe because we sneeked out our tent - the whole night had this special secret energy to it anyway.

I love this picture. It give me hope. It makes me happy to see millions of little star lights, and from some we know the origin has even already passed.
We look at the past through starlight. And we create a future by playing with the reflections of light.

Let’s reflect the biggest stars this WinterSolstice. We need alle the light. To crack open the black surfaces and make the future bright again.

Happy WinterSolstice. Let’s celebrate the turn of the times towards the light and surrender with our souls towards the sun. ❄️
