Today’s Reflection: Before You Declare Failure, Try with All Your Heart
Today, while watching Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, her journey reminded me of my own 22–25 years ago, when being a young woman in a professional world meant constant judgment and resistance.
People mocked and tried to pull me down:
“You’re just a girl.”
“Why work late?”
“You’re wasting a seat that belongs to men.”
In those days, everyone around told my father, “You have three daughters, just marry them off.”
But he didn’t bow to pressure. He stood firm and invested every bit of his savings in our education, not to make us rich, but to make us resilient.
That resilience became my foundation. It helped me rise again after my accident, when I literally came back from my death bed.
I didn’t always get the outcomes I wanted, but every try built my strength, shaped my mind, and deepened my spirit.
Those moments of effort, not success, created the version of me who now helps others rebuild their lives.
It’s easy to cry when things don’t go your way, but before you declare failure, try with all your heart.
Not every try makes you an inspiration to others, and that shouldn’t be your goal.
Every try refines you.
It strengthens your willpower, matures your soul, and connects you closer to the Divine plan for your life.
That’s the real victory — not proving the world wrong, but proving to yourself that you didn’t give up on your own potential.
Today, I bow to my father, the man who turned pressure into pride and raised strength instead of fear.
