Five years with Yellow vs Blue. Five years of learning, creating and growing.

Let’s take a moment to look back at the heart of it all. Why did it start? What pushed us to dream bigger and create a project that conects so many people?

Thank you for being part of this journey, for sharing your feelings, for showing up, and for reminding us why this project exists!

We don’t even know how to start describing the experience we had this month! Yellow vs. Blue had the opportunity to join the training course ‘Rehearsal for Life - Theatre of the Oppressed’ - Forum and Image Theatre methods for youth workers, trainers and facilitators. The TC was organised by Creative Connections in Balestrand, Norway from 3 to 12 of November, 2025 - facilitated by the amazing educational team (Andreea-Loredana Tudorache, Elena Stevkovska and Tuba Ardic). Last year we joined another project on assertive communication with CC and it was life-transformative experience, so we came back this year knowing that this TC would be another enriching and transformative learning experience, and indeed it was! 🙌🏼

The whole training was so practical, so full of movement and real stories. We were learning technique and we were all fully involved (this was a very special group!) using our bodies, our experiences, our emotions, our voices. We learned different methods and various activities to use in our work and future programs on how these methods can actually support young people who face different forms of oppression in their lives, and how powerful it can be when people come together to create solutions, images, scenes and hope.

Also meeting so many inspiring participants from different countries. Everyone shared their stories of oppressions so openly. Everyone contributed in their own way. We were a group that was learning with each other, not just next to each other.☀️

And outside the workshops, we also had a lot of fun and such a warm welcome from the organizers. We visited their apple farm, we learned about the local community, we got inspired every single day by new ideas and different perspectives. And Balestrand is one of the perfect environments to learn, reflect, breathe, and to take time for ourselves.

The project was financially supported by the Erasmus+ Program through the Norwegian National Agency and implemented by .connection.ciderhuset Norway.🇳🇴

Special thanks for providing Yellow vs. Blue this great experience to participate and grow! 💛

Some of you may already recognize Tamusi - She first joined us as a participant from Georgia in the Art of Change 2024 program and impressed us with her creativity, openness, and passion for mental health, art and human rights!

Now, we’re excited to see her bring that same energy and insight to our team and marketing efforts. 🌟

Join us in giving Tamusi a warm welcome as she takes on this new chapter with us, not just as an alumni, but as a new and essential part of Yellow vs. Blue 💛💙

🌍 Wow! What a couple of months we’ve been having! We have been lucky enough to be a part of soo many special journeys! And one of such experiences was with MAPS Mixed-Abilities Participatory Strategies project in Sardinia! 🇮🇹

Creating a positive impact is at the heart of what we do, and initiatives like this offer a beautiful opportunity to contribute meaningfully. From May 20-26 Yellow vs. Blue contributed as a Spanish sending partner organisation and sent three amazing participants to MAPS, an Erasmus+ Training Course coordinated and organised by where they had the chance to explore inclusive non-formal education tools and strategies for empowering mixed-ability groups!

A huge thank you to Associazione Coda di Lupo in Sardinia for their warm welcome, to all their hard work and dedication and to all the partner organizations for their collaboration! You all made this amazing project happen and touched so many people! 🇮🇹

Thank you for being a part of this journey 💛💙 We hope that this experience brought new perspectives and fueled you with inspiration!
