Anchor into presence, let go into the rhythm and be taken by the sound.

Rhythmic Roots experience invites participants into a shared space of grounding, movement and deep listening.

The evening unfolds as a journey, moving from stillness into groove, and finally into a bass-heavy, spacious dub soundscape.

Through percussion, strings and electronics the space explores the roots of rhythm, the heart beat. Landing through vibration.

It acts as a gentle catalyst — amplifying interoception, sharpening sensory intelligence & inviting a state of embodied observation that is deeply relaxing & intensely revealing at the same time.

From a space of dynamic stillness & echoing silence,
TEA THERAPY SESSIONS invite into a slow, intentional meditative practice woven with gentle somatic attunement, intuitive inquiry & grounded presence.

🫖 We work with high-quality ceremonial tea as a psycho-sensory medium to explore more subtle states of awareness.

Esten og Åsmunds litt spesielle fjerdedagsfest på HOC

En deilig flokk, en varm poesikonsert, laaange klemmer, kveldsmat med lave skuldre, julesanger og en leken romjulsjam? ❤️ Nevnte vi fellesskap, et rom sprengfullt av kjærlighet, dyp pust, ingen krav og såpass høy latter at man blir litt flau, eller bare ler med?

Når Esten Mortensen Holien og Åsmund Seip inviterer til fjerdedagsfest på House of Consciousness 28.12., er det ikke heeelt som andre fjerdedagsfester. Substansfritt (forutenom kjærlighet), avslappa og rett og slett deilig. Uten alt det vi må. Med alt det vi elsker.

Kvelden åpner med poesikonsert når Åsmund blir AASMUND og får med seg Esten Askeladd på perkusjon. Som avisa på Svartlamon skrev etter konserten der:

«sammen skapte de et uttrykk der slampoesi, elektroniske elementer og organiske rytmer smeltet sammen til et varmt og ujålete lydbilde (..) om kjærlighet, sårbarhet, tilhørighet og det å være menneske i en urolig verden (..) en intim konsert som traff publikum både i hjertet og magen»

Ta med noe godt til felles kveldsmatbord! Vi byr på surdeigsbrød, smør og brunost.

Og kanskje noe mer? Kakao?

Ta også med deg et instrument, en sang eller et dikt til jam rundt stearinlysene etter maten!

Og ta med en venn. Og deg selv. Og det deilige, fine hjertet ditt. Dørene åpner 19:00. Konsertstart 20:00.

Wether it is due to lack of family bonds, religious differences or personal choise, we wish to provide a safe haven for those looking for an alternative celebration and place to be on this special evening.

You are invited to participate in a musical journey. An evening of awareness, grounding and deep listening in a serene and peaceful atmosphere🕯️

We gather to calm the mind , cultivate presence and rejuvenate ourselves in the warmth from our collective awareness, live instruments and electronic textures.

The Grounding Session moves through musical genres as ambient, folk and dub in harmony and unison. Curated with an emphasis on improvastion and spontaneous creativity. The evening has three phases:

18:00 – Ambient Set
A spacious, meditative opening that sets the tone for the night.

19:00 – Kristoffer Birkedal
Honest, heartfelt songwriting carried by voice and guitar.

20:00 – Jacob Roots / Slægi
An immersive blend of folk, dub, and atmospheric electronic exploration.
