Øysten Glenne Kristiansen is a photographer with great enthusiasm for the qualities and characteristics of analogue film. Film reacts to light in a unique way, producing fascinating effects and colours without any form of digital manipulation- especially when using longer exposures. Many of kristiansens photos achieve their unique qualities through the use of long shutter cycles and thorough composition work. His aim is to grasp the atmospheres and esthetics surrounding us all, but which we, all to often, pass unnoticing....
