In The Central African Republic there are many diseases, little treatment and rebellions. The group of rebels took over many cities on the way to the Capital.
*January this year the rebels and the government signed a Peace agreement.
*But in Mars the group attacked the government again
The rebellions has destroyed for much of the help to those who need it. Many diseases that are treatable take many lives. Even though this crisis have been around for many decades, the people get little help and little attention.
In September, about 80.000 people sufferd from lack of nutrition. 13.500 children had malnutrition. For children, malaria is the leading cause of death. 110.000 Adults and 17.000 children have hiv. In total 45.000 people need life saving hiv treatment, but only 1/3 gets it. Many people live without shelter, medical treatment or food and water, and the average person lives to be 48 years!
The Norwegian organization “Medic Sans Frontiers” has been working in The Central African Republic since 1996. You can also help by donating money, but you can also like and share this to give them the attention they need and maybe one day reach out to the media.
