Kantipur national daily published a newspaper article highlighting our VP of Medical Affairs, Dr Angela Basnet's selfless service to the national and international community.
Having seen foreigner doctors serving in Nepal during her childhood, recently she was able to provide service to deprived people of Uganda. In addition to working as an Internal Medicine Specialist at SMAH Banepa, she has also conducted health camps in various parts of Nepal and served innumerable patients during such camps.
Dr Arun Gupta, pediatric cardiologist at SMAH also provided his service to the children of Uganda. Dr Tara Jung Gurung, the Vice President of Academics also joined them in this mission trip to Uganda.

We are proud of our department head, Dr Ajay Kumar Yadav for winning the award for "Best Department Manager of the year" for the Nepali fiscal year 2079/80. Congratulations Dr Ajay.

Orthopaedics department had won "Best Department of the year" and Dr Dilip Kumar Yadav had won "Employee of the year" in the previous fiscal year.

With these series of achievements, we have achieved a hat-trick feat. We have set a good example at Scheer Memorial Adventist Hospital.

An Aeroplane cleaner was cleaning the Pilot's cockpit, when he saw a book titled, "HOW TO FLY AN AEROPLANE FOR BEGINNERS (Volume 1)

He opened the first (1st) page which said: "To start the engine, press the red button...". He did so, and the airplane engine started...

He was happy and opened the next page...:
"To get the airplane moving, press the blue button... "He did so, and the plane started moving at an amazing speed...

He wanted to fly, so he opened the third (3rd) page which said: To let the airplane fly, please press the green button... "He did so and the plane started to fly...

He was excited...!!

After twenty (20) minutes of flying, he was satisfied, and wanted to land, so he decided to go to the fourth (4th) page... and page four (4) says; "To be able to know how to land a plane, please purchase Volume 2 at the nearest bookshop!"
