विश्व अल्जाइमर्स दिवसको अवसरमा बिहानी (Bihani Social Venture ) द्वारा आयोजित अल्जाइमर्स सम्बन्धी विशेष कार्यक्रममा प्रस्तुति दिन पाउँदा म अत्यन्त खुसी छ।
अल्जाइमर्स सम्बन्धी आफ्नो ज्ञान र अनुभव प्रस्तुत गर्दै सहभागीहरुको डिमेन्सिया तथा अल्जाइमर्स सम्बन्धी विभिन्न जिज्ञासाको पनि समाधान गरियो। आयोजकलाई यति सुन्दर कार्यक्रम आयोजना गरी मलाई आफ्नो ज्ञान र अनुभव साट्ने मौका दिनुभएकोमा आभार व्यक्त गर्दछु।

विश्व अल्जाइमर्स दिवस २०२५ : "डिमेन्सियाको बारेमा सोधौँ। अल्जाइमर्सको बारेमा सोधौँ " भन्ने नाराका साथ विश्वभरि नै डिमेन्सिया र अल्जाइमर्सको बारेमा बहस, पैरवी र सचेतनाका कार्यक्रम गरी मनाइँदैछ ।
समाजमा डिमेन्सिया तथा अल्जाइमर्सको बारेमा अज्ञानता र अन्धविश्वासहरू रहेका छन्। त्यसैले यस रोगको बारेमा सबैजनाले छलफल गरौँ। भ्रमलाई हटाऔँ। अरु रोगहरू जस्तै डिमेन्सिया पनि कम उमेरका मानिसलाई (४५-५५ वर्ष) पनि देखिन थालेको छ।
केही वर्षअगाडि मैले दिएको यो अन्तर्वार्ता अझै पनि समसामयिक देखिन्छ।

Lets meet tomorrow to discuss on Alzheimer’s Disease..

Commemorating September 21st as World Alzheimer’s Awareness day with the theme "Ask about Dementia, Ask about Alzheimer’s," we warmly invite you to join our special session on Alzheimer’s with Dr. Ananta Aryal on Saturday, 20th September 2025, from 1 PM – 3 PM at Tamarind Restaurant.

Charges: Rs. 600 for non-members and Rs. 500 for Bihani members (inclusive of tea/cookies and a digital certificate).

This session is a valuable opportunity to:
- Gain a better understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s from a medical expert.
- Learn how to recognize early signs and provide appropriate care.
- Break the stigma and open conversations around memory-related conditions.
- Equip yourself with knowledge that can support families, caregivers, and communities.

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐀𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐥
Dr. Ananta Aryal is a renowned Geriatric Consultant with an MD in Geriatric Medicine from AIIMS, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as a Consultant Geriatrician at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu and is the Chairman of Niruja Health Care and Research Center. Dr. Aryal has trained over 15 batches of healthcare professionals in ICOPE-based Geriatric Training and has a special focus on dementia and polypharmacy. He has contributed to developing Nepal's National Dementia Action Plan with the support of WHO and regularly conducts health awareness programs on healthy aging. Additionally, he is an expert member of various geriatric guidelines, a faculty member at Art of Living Nepal, a co-founder of the National Institute on Ageing and Health, and holds advisory roles at Jestha Nagarik Chautari, Thecho, and Bihani Social Venture. He is also an active member of the Geriatric Society of Nepal.
