We urge people to unite in a nationwide lockdown against coronavirus. True lockdown must begin, and a lockdown together, a lockdown united. We must stop going out of homes, and close all non-essential business. A good tough fight, we have one on our hands now. Let's unite to fight against this pandemic.

Considering the geographic and economic closeness between Southeast Asia and China, the coronavirus challenges Southeast Asia both economically and directly as an outbreak. The loss of tourism, supply chain disruptions, and problems posed by ongoing severe drought have already caused many Southeast Asian countries to slash growth expectations for 2020. The outbreak appeared manageable until recently: among 596,852 cases of COVID-19 and 27,355 deaths reported globally, South Asia has seen a total of 2547 cases as of today, 28 March.
