On his death anniversary, Swami Anand Arun remembers Krishna Prasad Bhattarai, lovingly known as Kisunji a leader with the heart of a saint. He was known for his honesty, courage, and simple way of living. Even in the middle of political struggle, he remained calm, humble, and deeply committed to truth.
Kisunji played an important role in Nepal's movement for democracy in 1990 and later served the nation as Prime Minister. He believed that politics should be guided by values, not personal gain. People respected him because he lived what he spoke with integrity and simplicity.
He passed away on March 4, 2011. Swami Anand Arun recalls him as a pure and courageous soul who showed that leadership can be clean and compassionate. His life still inspires many to walk the path of service with honesty and dignity.
