FATS ✨
Fats often get a bad rap with myths they lead to heart disease, cause weight gain and will generally make you unhealthy.
However, we’re here to tell you the above is not entirely true. Not all fats are created equally and when choosing the right type (oily fish, nuts, seeds, avocado, coconut, olive oil, olives), they can actually lead to many health benefits! These include;
✔️ Ensuring our fat-soluble vitamins are absorbed (important nutrients for vision, immunity, bone health and so much more!)
✔️ Providing a feeling of ‘satiation’
✔️ Improving mood, mental health, reducing inflammation, and supporting some women's health conditions (when choosing omega-3)
✔️ Playing a critical role in fetal brain growth and development, during pregnancy
So, pretty important right!
Here at TWS, we recommend our clients include 1-2 tbsp of healthy fats in each of their main meals, either during the cooking process or by adding them to meals!
Our nut/seed combos are also the perfect way of getting in your goodness (whilst boosting the flavour profile too!)

1/3 cup roasted walnuts
1/3 cup roasted almonds (sliced)
1/3 cup chia seeds
1/3 cup desiccated cinnamon OR cinnamon flakes
1-2tsp cinnamon (to taste)
🥗 Super Seeds Combo - pic #2
(sprinkle onto your salads, eggs!)
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1 tsp ground cumin
Store in airtight containers and they’ll last for weeks!
