Oh me oh my...it's been a hot minute. Sorry! I tore my meniscus and learned a whole lot on the way.

This year, I've had shingles, a fractured hand and now a torn meniscus (it's in the knee) because midlife (well, later life!) can shake up more than just your routine - your balance often wobbles too.

But I've learned that simple toe and foot exercises can make a big difference in stability and confidence. Stand tall, reach for your tiptoes, and give your feet some love. 🦶✨

🍊🍊🍊🍋 Evidence-based lifestyle science for midlife women lights me up - because it shows just how powerful it really is for us.

Yes, hormone therapy (HRT/ /MHT) can be a game-changer for some women, but I believe nutrition, sleep, some high-quality evidence-based supplements and stress management are just as crucial in slowing the inflammatory changes that can be unwanted guests that come to breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Take citrus, for example. On the weekend, I was thrilled to discover someone sharing the fruits of some of their hefty lemon tree on the streets of Cambridge.

One of my favourite calming resets is the 4-7-8 breath: inhale for 4 , hold for 7, exhale for 8.

It’s simple, grounding, and tells your body: you’re safe, you can let go.
