**** FOOD - What and how much you eat and how often
**** EXERCISE - How much and often you move your body
**** YOUR MIND - What you believe is how you behave. Old beliefs, unless changed, will generally always overrule what you think consciously. Therefore unless something changes in your subconscious mind, nothing will change. Getting your subconscious "mind" in the right place is absolutely imperative for there to be any permanent change in your behaviour. And that is where hypnosis specialises.... the subconscious mind. When you repeat something (helpful to you or not) neural pathways are strengthened in your brain. And each time you repeat or reinforce that action / behaviour those pathways get stronger and stronger. So each time you repeat something negative or positive those pathways strengthen. The secret is to build new habits, new neural pathways, aligned with what you what to achieve. If this is losing weight, then your actions and behaviours need to reflect what your subconscious mind believes you want. Ant to change that from old habits to new is where hypnosis can really help. But if you only keep going for a couple of weeks or so, then give up the old habits will re-surface and you do the diet yoyo.
