What we do: We exploit interactive technologies like video games to help us deliver essential educational content to people in need in a manner that is engaging and fun. Our main target users are children. We believe that by empowering our children, they will in turn teach us how to live healthily in all aspects of our lives. Being a part of CyrilQ Studios means being a representative of positive change for humanity. We believe that our children will inspire the change we need for a better future. We will provide the tools they use to do it. Creating a campaign for a targeted problem or condition,
2. Partnering up with the necessary organisations to leverage resources for the targeted problem or condition
3. Learning and knowing the needs and wants of the people affected by the targeted problem or condition
4. Creating effective educational solutions that exploit interactive features of games, animations and other multimedia elements in order to deliver the necessary material in a fun manner to those affected by the particular problem or condition (research required to prove effectiveness)
5. Distributing the solution or solutions via different channels (Schools, Hospitals, Organisations, Internet).
6. Supporting causes that help to aid in achieving the campaign goal for the targeted problem
7. Repeating steps 3-6 till the goal is achieved
8. Repeating the process for other health, environmental and social issues

So we have been busy prepping for Big Boys Toys, almost ready for things to be packed and taken in, a couple of issues we are trying to fix but all in all everything seems to be working. Come check us out in the Little Boys Toys area on Saturday and Sunday, and also make sure you stop in and see the Rabble Room Arcade guys who have been giving us a huge helping hand

Thanks to Tom and Jenna from Rabble Room for featuring one of our ‘physical activity’ game prototypes at their first ever arcade event last week (8th October 2013). We had an awesome time, received great feedback for our game and met with lots of wonderful people. We are looking forward to the next one.

Thanks a bunch to the children and teachers of Swanson Primary School for helping us play-test our Marby prototype. It was an awesome day and all the kids were super-troopers.

The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and couldn't wait to play more of our games.

There was some great honest feedback and creative improvement ideas. We will be implementing some changes before the web prototype release which will be coming soon for you all to test. Watch this space..

Marby - Insulin Keeper, is a simple and fun game to introduce children to the world of diabetes. The game itself does not teach children what diabetes is, it subtly introduces children to the eating/insulin 'intake balancing' concept that is important for people living with type 1 diabetes.

We will be testing our first prototype with children from Swanson Primary School to get their feedback on it which should be fun.

The game will also be used as a marketing tool to introduce everyone to our upcoming website MissionDiabetes.com. MissionDiabetes.com will house our innovative and fun diabetes education framework that uses games and interactive videos as tools to teach about the diabetes condition.

We will also be testing with all of you at some stage so when we have the link available, please let us know what you like, dislike, suggest improvements and share it with friends to get their opinions.
