I've had couple of busy weeks giving presentations to two large Retirement Villages on the lovely North Shore plus 3 Village run Health Expos in Howick, Henderson and Glenfield. This gives me greater exposure and connection to residents who will benefit from my mobile service.
I have met so many lovely people and feel welcomed where ever I go.
Bookings come from this but just as important is the pleasure of changing people's health and well-being by reducing the stress of having to go out for their ear care.

2026 update:
I've been busy traveling across Tamaki Makaurau from Rodney to South Auckland with Northwest, West and Central thrown in.
I have some regular clients who require a clean every 3-6/12. Most commonly once a yr is enough but there are a few who require more frequent visits.
I have been privileged to share and explain the benefits of my service to villages in the form of a presentation on the North Shore and an Expo out in Howick.
I continue to follow my purpose of reaching those who cannot get out to clinics and services for professional ear cleaning.
My service covers private homes, public hospitals, Retirement villages including care centres and dementia units. I have a regular group in a supported living environment i see 6/12 and they really appreciate that i can come to them.
Its a huge effort for people who are unwell, disabled, elderly to get transport, staff availability, access issues in clinics, time constraints and family availability.
I love being able to turn up and care for ears in a very safe environment using my skill and professionalism. I love the feedback I get and I certainly back my ability to help change the ways blocked ears can make you feel.

I am so lucky. Im meeting so many lovely people out there during my private home and retirement village visits.
My oldest customer this week an is a wonderful lady aged 106! 😀
There are so many people needing ear care in their place of residence who no longer can get out and about easily.
Each week I am going into a new care home and seeing elderly residents who get brought along to a room I'm set up in, to care for their ears. So many great outcomes. The instant realisation that can hear again is a mutual reward for us both, not to mention the staff and family members all have struggled to communicate with a resident with blocked ears.
This week I want to thank the amazing staff working in Audiology clinics around Auckland who have passed on my details or referred their clients to me, so together we can help them hear better. Much appreciated 👏🏼.
Coming up to xmas i still have plenty of appointments available out on the road. Make sure you and your loved ones can hear the jingle bells and can join in the family gatherings.

If you have an elderly relative who can't get out, let me come and care for their ears. No reason even to leave their cosy room. No waiting and paying for an Uber, waiting for busy family members, or going out in the rain!

I'm down in Christchurch for an exciting opportunity to meet like minded caring Ear Nurses at the Annual ENSG Conference.
Great opportunity to share and learn new knowledge and find support in what is a very niche skill.
Nurses work hard in often trying circumstances around the motu, whether it's within public or private settings. There are a lot of situations and communities that need qualified Registered Nurses like Ear Microsuction Specialists to do the mahi beyond the main city centres and clinics that provide the ease of accessibility ♿️ and transport that more remote areas don't. Factors could be economic, isolation, disabilities and lack of information of available support.
In joining this 2 day conference, I hope to strengthen my knowledge by finding out what other colleagues are doing, how they cope with travel, costs, and their methods of reaching out these communities to offer what every New Zealander deserves.
On my return I will share some of those experiences especially those that will benefit Mobile Ear Care in delivery of Ear Health for my clients.

Great couple of weeks with some amazing clients needing my care out in the more remote areas of Northwest Auckland.
I am currently getting many house calls to treat people ranging in ages and mobility issues or with time restraints.
If you can't reach an ear nurse within a convenient time or distance, call or email me and I can book to come see you in your own home.
I can see children from age 6m upwards. Children can be nervous, unsure or tricky to get out and about in the car for an appointment esp if you have other family commitments.
Are you worried about your childs wax volume, complaining of earache, or do you consider that a perceived loss of hearing might be affecting their speech?
A professional check and clean with an experienced Ear Nurse in the community is a great option.
I can do the whole family if you want to save a trip into town.

I get daily reminders from clients that there is a great need out there for specialist ear care.
Past bad experiences can put people off attempting another approach for cleaning. Disgruntled recipients of our very slow, inefficient health system.
I can offer home visits for nervous clients, those feeling a bit anxious about going out or can't cope driving in Auckland traffic.
Please share my post to see if I can reach those who don't know my excellent services exists!!
