Kundalini Yoga classes begin this week!✨

Move your body, reset your system, and learn to relax more deeply, no matter how busy life feels.

This practice supports your body’s natural ability to recover, helping you build energy, resilience, and overall wellbeing.

So excited to be part of the Nelson Yoga Festival again!

I will be offering a session on Sunday 25th April: "Come back to Neutral - Meditation and Gong Immersion".

Join me for a short gentle movement to awaken your body, followed by a meditation to ground your neutral mind, and a deep relaxaion with the healing sound of the gong.

And feel free to come to say ciao after the session :)

Starting this week:Kundalini Yoga classes - Journey through the body.

Your physical body is a vehicle to experience life. The systems in the body are designed to be active and robust and then relax and recover.

One of the greatest gifts of Kundalini yoga and meditation that we can teach our bodies and minds to relax even in midst of our busy life. This allows our systems to recover and promotes health and vitality.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 5.30pm-6.30pm, in person in Blenheim or online. 15$ casual class if spaces available.

If you have an approved sensitive claims, you can be referred by your Lead provider to one this funded groups starting in April.

Each group is designed to support trauma healing through different approaches, so you can choose the one that works best for you at this stage of your journey.

Some of the approaches used:

- Internal Family System helps make sense of emotional responses, protective patterns and internal conflicts so you can understand how reactions were developed (used in Relational Safety and Parts in motions groups)

- TCTSY is a specific methodology of trauma sensitive yoga based on choice making and noticing sensations to rebuild a sense of safety and agency (used in Parts in motion and Online TCTSY groups).

New ACC funded online group.

if you have an accepted ACC Sensitive Claim and are looking for additional support alongside individual therapy, you may be interested in this one-day online group as part of your recovery journey.

The group will be facilitated by experienced Trauma Therapist Angela Carter and I will be available for support throughout the day.

This program focusses on understanding how trauma can shape relationship patterns, boundaries and trust in the way we relate to others and building healthier connection moving forward.

This online group is only for ACC accepted sensitive claims. Referrals through The Nelson Clinic. Feel free to reach out for any question.

As the seasons begin to shift and the light softens, the Autumn Equinox is an invitation to pause and breathe.

You are warmly invited to a Kundalini Yoga & Gong Sound Immersion to honour this turning point of the year.

In this 2-hour experience you will move through Kundalini yoga, breath and meditation to release tension and reconnect with the body. The practice will then transition into a deeply restorative gong sound immersion, allowing the vibrations of the gong to support deep relaxation and help the nervous system settle.

The equinox is a moment of natural balance between light and dark, a beautiful time to check in with yourself, let go of what you may be carrying, and create space for the season ahead.

Love this!

I was used to be someone who did not understand the point of meditating or doing yoga...

And personally, it has been a journey, because I was not aware of how much I was in my head, instead of in my body.

But then...when I chose to stick to yoga and meditation...I noticed that what I felt as relaxation until that point in my life, it was actually avoidance or control.....and I started seeing how much your life changes when you do those practices, and a new version of yourself can show up.

And when you have access to this new way of experiencing life, so much more become possible
