Just as humans love to be charged by the sunshine - I am so excited to share that our studio (our happy place) is now also charged by mother nature 🌞.

Anyone who purchases a yoga concession card before the 12th December will go in the draw to win one of these mentioned prizes. This includes concessions for Tamahere Country Club, Prenatal, Private sessions, Tweens, Broga and the normal 10 and 5 class concession.

You can load the concessions against your account without having to use them until next year. This will mean that you can get it cheaper before the small price increases in 2026. Everyone loves a saving!

The last 6 week block of Prenatal yoga for 2025 will run from next Thursday 6th November.

Pregnancy is such a precious time. It can also be a ride full of emotions and challenges both physically and mentally. Prenatal yoga provides a safe space to move your body in a way that works for you. Building strength, finding connection to your breath and most importantly - finding connection with other mum's.

The cost of the 6 week block is $120.
Class runs from 6-7pm.
Everything you need is provided.

The time has come! I don't think there ever is a right or a wrong time.... But with a little encouragement from a few of you I have made the decision after many years to slightly increase the cost of classes. This will however not take effect until 2026! More info to come.

I'm thinking that perhaps in the lead up to this - over November/December I will run a little competition. Anyone who purchases a concession card from 1st November - 12th December will go in the draw. 2 x $50 LSKD gift vouchers and a LSKD goodie bag up for grabs.

I was talking with someone the other day about no matter how old your children get - there's always a phase.

We as parents are now entering a new phase. Our children are no longer so reliant on us unless it's as an Uber or an ATM. This new phase is enabling us to step away from the "noise" of parenting and enjoy time together as Chris and Ange - not Mum and Dad.

Chasing cocktails, fish and chips and sunsets in Raglan over the weekend.

No matter your day, there will always be something to be grateful for (no matter how big or small) - like looking out the window of the studio and seeing the rainbow streaks in the sky this morning.

Gratitude isn’t just about seeing the world through rose-colored glasses or ignoring the suffering in the world. Instead, it holds space for both the highs and the lows of life.

Gratitude doesn't mean that life is perfect, it encourages us to identify some amount of goodness in our life.

I spoke with a busy mum of two girls earlier this week and they have a family ritual of each night acknowledging their rose and thorns (highs and lows). What a beautiful way to acknowledge daily gratitude as a family 🥰
