Motivation is easy to find, and it feels great. However, it’s also temporary.

It can’t be relied on to get you anywhere, it can only assist.

When you have discipline as your steady driver, motivation can be used to give you that little push when you really need it.

You need consistency to get results, and discipline creates this, not motivation.

Only you can decide to make that shift. Once you do, that’s when things change for the better.

Start the week right. Try this beginner friendly hybrid kettlebell & calisthenics workout🔥

The hybrid approach:

Calisthenics - Using your bodyweight to build functional strength, endurance & lean muscle. This type of training also burns calories long after the workout is complete, boosting your metabolism.

Kettlebells - Added resistance builds strength & power, while the flowing movement improves functionality.

Workout:

1 min each exercise
30 seconds rest in between
2-3 rounds total 🔥

Keep the kettlebell movements slower & controlled - core & back remains stable, squeeze the working muscles!

This workout will target your upper & lower abs, obliques & deep core.

Because we’re using dumbbells and a bar, this places extra resistance on the muscles, helping to build definition.

Remember - exercises will build muscle definition, but your nutrition habits decide whether it’s revealed or not. 🫐🍠🍳🥦🥑

Workout:

12-16 reps each exercise (both sides where necessary)
3 sets each
30 seconds break between exercises

Just a little reminder to do some form of daily movement 💃.

It doesn’t need to be much, whatever you can manage.

Short home workouts, getting outdoors for a run or leisure walk, gym, swimming, join a class, dancing, sports… 💁‍♀️

Mindful movement each day will improve your quality of life, it’s as simple as that 🙂
