Research shows Tai Chi can significantly reduce chronic pain โ€” not just ease it.

๐Ÿ’ก What studies found:

In 18 RCTs, Tai Chi improved osteoarthritis and back-pain symptoms (Wang et al., 2016).

A 2024 meta-analysis of 729 people with chronic low-back pain found Tai Chi reduced pain intensity by ~ 50 % (Sotiropoulos et al., 2024).

Why it works:
Slow, mindful movement calms the nervous system, releases muscle tension, improves circulation, and retrains the brainโ€™s pain response. ๐ŸŒธ
