Minky Minx was viciously attacked by a dog on Tuesday 23rd of August 2016 in Hillary st Pinehill. I've set this page up firstly to support Minky and I and secondly to make the owner aware of how horrific her injuries are. Minky fell through the safety of her cat flap, at 1.15 am on Wednesday morning. I checked her vitals and she was extremely flat, almost dead. We rushed her to Humanimals, where we managed to get oxygen into her and warm fluids and xrays. Her survival was still touch and go. She was still alive at about 9 am on Wednesday. Minky had an ultrasound to further examine the extent of her injuries. Nothing really prepared Jeff and Lisa for what they would find when she was opened. Minky was a mess internally. Her diaphragm was damaged, her intestines had been punctured multiple time and some of the contents had broken through her chest cavity. All these and others needed extensive repairing. Her costs and care is estimated to reach beyond $3000.00 and climbing. When I wasn't ready for another dog in 2014 she became my wee mate, now I need to be her rock. Please do the right thing by keeping your dog/s on lead and please put a muzzle on it/them. I am not asking for your dog/s to be destroyed. I'm just asking for you to be aware and do the right thing. What if this was a child next?

So.... Hey I hear there's a new raw dried food with a probiotic made right here in Aotearoa hitting the supermarket selves

Cant wait to try the feline flavors!

It's been an inside kinda day here in this old City.... with temps over 30 degrees, so one did decide to play with a new dangly thing Mum bought from Crafty Minx
She tells me its got some good smelling stuff in it and I like the crackling noises it makes when I try to kill it! I like it!
