Kia ora everyone,
We are looking at getting a group together for We Run The Night at the Mount and would like to gauge interest at this stage before we complete registrations.
Event details:
We Run the Night at the Mount
21km, 10km & 5km
Saturday 2 May 2026
6:00pm start
Mount Maunganui
At the moment, we are just seeing who is keen to take part. We are planning to complete registrations later using the Easter discount, so there is no need to register yet.
If you are interested, please let us know which distance you would like to do:

If you are planning to take part and will need a guide, or if you are available to guide, please make sure you send your guide details to Yoke, as she will be coordinating guides for this event.
Please get in touch if you are interested so we can start getting an idea of numbers.
You must be a current financial Achilles International New Zealand member to be part of our team.

The weather is looking pretty good this evening (partly cloudy/fine conditions and light winds), so it’s a great chance to get out, get moving, and enjoy a solid session together.

Great to have our Achilles Tauranga Moana Whanau come to the Tron and join us at the Harcourts Hamilton Half Marathon today, some PBs achieved and lots of fun as usual.

Everyone is busy training for the Kirikiriroa Marathon, Hamilton on the 6th June hopefully Achilles Auckland joins our Tauranga and Hamilton groups for a big day out..

Kia ora Achilles Waikato!
We’re all set for 5:30pm at Memorial Park tonight. The forecast is looking like it’ll clear by around 5pm, so we should be in good shape. And honestly, a little cloud or wind never stopped us before 💪
Bring a light layer just in case, bring your usual great energy, and let’s get stuck into a solid session together.

Waihi Beach Adventure Day

Our annual adaptive surfing day is coming up and this year we are partnering with Achilles, Halberg & Live Well Waihi Beach to offer you adaptive surfing, beach run/walk/wheelchair races as well as lots of beach games. This will be followed by the official opening of the new accessible changing room facility.
Sausage sizzle and ice blocks will be provided !
