Very fine needles placed into points along the meridian pathways help to move Qi and bring balance to the body, treating a wide range of chronic internal conditions and musculoskeletal problems. Acupuncture can be beneficial for
headaches, fatigue, anxiety, menstrual problems,
back pain, sprained ankles and much much more

Tuina medical massage (Dip)
With touch, mobilization and massage of the meridians, body areas and acupressure points I focus on correct pressure, rhythm, and technique for the condition being treated. Tuina uses a wide range of soft, gentle and deep, strong touch. We often encompass intentional energetic movement (similar to Reiki) all the way to large movements of the body and structural re-alignments, this flows in rhythmic oscillation throughout the treatment with conversion between yin and yang. Medical Qi gong (Dip)
Qi Gong means is to use intention and movement on a subtle energy level. Personal qi gong routines can be tailored to suit your constitution and ability from internal deep meditations to dynamic sequences of movements and exercises.

After exactly 10 years of acupuncture practice today I will be finishing up and moving into a new phase of life for some time to become a muma. Maternity leave starts tomorrow and my lovely reception team put on a delicious spread to celebrate.

Looking forward to this course later this year and learning to use this level of technique in the clinic.

Looking forward to this course later this year and learning to use this level of technique in the clinic.

Super excited about presenting in the NeuroLab tomorrow with Dr. Michael Corradino on our first-ever Neuropuncture Stellate Ganglion neuro-modulation case studies. This groundbreaking research and clinical technique have been years in the making, and presenting our first clinical trials is very fulfilling.

I'll be presenting a case study on Raynaud's phenomenon. Here's a sneak peek at the clinical mindset behind this prescription:

1) Targeting the central processes of the Vagus nerve sensory and motor nuclei aims to modulate the Vagus nerve immune reflex, regulate the central autonomic network, and maintain homeostasis of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, ultimately enhancing vagal tone.

2) Changing the polarization of the Stellate ganglion serves to disrupt sympathetic nervous system outflow and promote vasodilation, thereby improving peripheral circulatory perfusion in the thoracic and upper extremity regions.

3) By regulating autonomic nervous system networks and the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, we aim to modulate circulatory dynamics, mitigating excessive vasospasm triggered by stress and cold exposure.

If you want to learn more about Neuropuncture, join us on our New Zealand tour this year for your professional development.

PC6 or 'Neiguan' is a point used frequently in emotional disorders, and to support heart health.
fMRI study shows what regions of the brain appear to be affected when it is used on a patient.

We are relocating

For the past 6 years it has been an honor to serve Golden Bay. I am greatful to all my clients for allowing me to be part of your healing journeys and to my colleagues for all the referrals, support and really making the health centre feel like a team and a family. You will all be missed.

In November we will be moving north to Kirikiriroa Hamilton, I will be opening a new clinic there when I find the right space. I'm looking forward to seeing what this holds and what opportunities may arise.

Please get in touch if you would like any final treatments during October.
Or Hamilton folks if you would like to try acupuncture when I am there.

Thankyou
Annalee

As an Allied health service, acupuncturists must adhere to codes and Health Consumer Rights.
Allied health must not ask for vaccine pass or deny treatment based on beliefs, values or disclosure of personal information.

This information comes directly from the Ministry of Health after much legal consultation by Acupuncture NZ. The covid protection bill does not come above your rights to health care.

As I will be seeing all clients...
✓Wear a mask in clinic
✓Answer screening questions at each visit
✓Wait outside rather than in the office
✓The windows will be open for ventilation
✓Sessions may be shorter for cleaning
