Looking forward to this course later this year and learning to use this level of technique in the clinic.
Super excited about presenting in the NeuroLab tomorrow with Dr. Michael Corradino on our first-ever Neuropuncture Stellate Ganglion neuro-modulation case studies. This groundbreaking research and clinical technique have been years in the making, and presenting our first clinical trials is very fulfilling.
I'll be presenting a case study on Raynaud's phenomenon. Here's a sneak peek at the clinical mindset behind this prescription:
1) Targeting the central processes of the Vagus nerve sensory and motor nuclei aims to modulate the Vagus nerve immune reflex, regulate the central autonomic network, and maintain homeostasis of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, ultimately enhancing vagal tone.
2) Changing the polarization of the Stellate ganglion serves to disrupt sympathetic nervous system outflow and promote vasodilation, thereby improving peripheral circulatory perfusion in the thoracic and upper extremity regions.
3) By regulating autonomic nervous system networks and the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, we aim to modulate circulatory dynamics, mitigating excessive vasospasm triggered by stress and cold exposure.
