Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery is a life-changing procedure that can have many positive impacts on health. However, the impact on nutrient absorption is one that must be carefully managed. Nutrient deficiencies can develop quickly and are often silent in the early stages. If left untreated, deficiencies can cause many negative impacts on health.

In this free, live webinar, Registered Nutritionist Nicole Freebairn will walk you through some of the most common nutrient deficiencies that can develop in the early stages post-op, the early warning signs to look out for, and how to correct and prevent deficiencies through nutrition and supplementation.

Whether you’re newly post-op, preparing for surgery or just want a refresher, this session is designed to give you practical, actionable guidance to feel more confident in maintaining your health after metabolic and bariatric surgery.

One of the most important aspects of your long-term success after bariatric surgery is keeping your nutrition and blood levels in check. While surgery is a powerful tool for weight loss and improving health, it also significantly changes the way your body absorbs nutrients. This means that even if you’re eating well, deficiencies can still develop over time - sometimes without any obvious symptoms at all.

Understanding the most common nutrient deficiencies and how to prevent or manage them is key to feeling your best, protecting long-term health, and avoiding potentially serious complications.

Five of the most common nutrient deficiencies include:
🥩 iron
🐟 vitamin B12
☀️ vitamin D
🌾 thiamine (vitamin B1)
🥕 vitamin A

If you’d like to learn more about how to help prevent nutrient deficiencies in the early stages after bariatric surgery, comment WEBINAR and we’ll send you the link to our free upcoming webinar 💻
