So, today we moved to Alert Level 2. Lots of changes in the clinic in terms of client safety, with masks and gloves on hand for anyone with compromised health and rigorous cleaning procedures in place. Although it seems a bit daunting, the rules are in place to protect us all and we will all adjust to this 'new normal'. If you need us we are here for face to face consultations and any other hearing services you may require. If you have compromised health or would prefer not to come in to the clinic just yet let us know and we will find a way to help you. In the car programming, phone consultations, hearing aid drop off and courier delivery of batteries and consumables are just some of the ways we can provide a quality service without you needing to attend the clinic. Keep safe and well everyone.

From Tuesday 28 April our clinic will be open in line with government guidelines for alert level 3 but we are still unable to see you for a face to face consultation. During this time we will be available to offer phone support so please call if you need help.

We can also assist with urgent repairs and replacement hearing aid/s for lost/damaged devices for those who cannot manage without amplification. We can also assist with providing batteries, filters and other consumables if you need them.

UPDATE: In line with the PM's instructions, our clinic is currently closed. We are however, checking our phone regularly throughout the day so if you need us please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as we are able. We hope to be able to help our clients with any hearing aid issues as they arise during the lock down period. Ruth has already dropped off hearing batteries to clients who are unable to leave the house so do let us know if you are in need of anything and we will see what we can do to assist. I am very aware that for those clients with more severe hearing difficulties this is going to be a stressful time, as you are reliant on your hearing aids for communication and some of you don't hear well on the phone. If it is easier for you, send us an email and we will see what we can do to help you through the coming weeks. We must try to stay positive during this challenging time. Remember, we all are in this together and if we follow the rules we can beat Covid 19 and our lives will return to normal. In the meantime, stay safe and let's all try to help each other.
