Ben Doyle was diagnosed with brain cancer in July of 2011 at the age of 15 years old. Ben has a golf-ball-sized tumor that is growing on his pituitary gland that is at the base of his brain which is called a glioma brain tumor. Since then Ben has endured two rounds of treatment and 6 surgeries. What kind of guy is Ben you ask. Well Ben is the type of guy who everyone wishes to be like. He is fun l
oving and has a true passion for life. No matter what is being thrown his way, he is always wearing a smile. When you first meet Ben you don't meet as strangers, you meet as friends. Ben accepts everyone with a handshake and an open mind. He thinks of everyone but himself. He is full of life, courage and optimism. Ben is a frequent flyer at El Mark-O Lanes in Casper Wyoming. He and his family are committed bowlers. At any given time you can find them at El Mark-O Lanes. If ever there was frequent flyer miles for bowling they all would fly for free for life. Ben was accepted to Midland University in Fremont, Neb. He wants to work in a children’s hospital as a nurse practitioner. Ben is full of spark. He has hopes to work in marketing at U.S. Bowling Congress headquarters in Arlington, Texas.
