I DON’T HAVE TIME

A sentence we may have said to ourselves one too many times? Trust me; I’m no stranger either to saying this and reaching for the convenient option in the past. Meal prep is all about making it work for you. My days are go go go and this morning I could’ve easily caved and left the door without my trusty lunch box packed. But in the small amount of time I had I:
✨ Popped my work pants in the dryer so I can get to work on time 🤣
✨ Cooked up my protein fajita style mix that I add to my wraps and other meals. Literally it is just one chicken breast, a red onion and half a pack of seasoning mix 🤤
✨ Made my salad (pre made slaw bags are AMAZING) so all I need to do is add my protein and when I get to work construct my wrap at lunchtime.
And that’s it! It doesn’t need to be over complicated and it’s all about finding what works for you. This works for me well as by the time I get home from the gym I am nearing the hangry side 🤣🤣 So all I’ll need to do tonight is heat my protein. Make my salad and boom! Wrap done! Just in time to heading out again for the driving range tonight. Cant wait! What are your meal prep tips? Pop them down below! ⬇️

Hi my name is Jenn and I like punching things*
*and by things I mean a boxing bag and a set of focus pads when I go to or see 🤣🤣
Boxing has been amazing part of my fitness journey in the past couple of years for several reasons
1️⃣ I ENJOY it so it doesn’t feel like I’m working out
2️⃣ As a women I feel so empowered and strong and loooove hearing that sound when the glove hits the pad
And there are so many great benefits to boxing too!
⚡️ Improvement in upper body and core strength
⚡️ Greater balance
⚡️ hand-eye coordination and motor skills
⚡️ Better posture….. the list goes on!
If you have ever thought about getting into boxing I’ve tagged some amazing coaches and gyms you can try in your area wherever you may be. Remember fitness needs to be fun and enjoyable; not a chore ☺️ Happy Friday team! ✨✨

Strayed away from home today and went to and not only was I blown away with the facilities I was also impressed with how lovely the people were 🥰
When it comes to finding a gym to sign up to the vibe is just as important as the equipment that it has. Why sign up to somewhere where you feel uncomfortable? If you do you’ll end up being the best donator of paying money and not going 🤣
When I restarted my journey last year to get out of my dark place the first thing I did was sign up to a new gym. I needed to be at a place where I felt comfortable but also didn’t know anyone. And from there I went from only going once a week to a class my friend took to getting into a good routine 🔥🔥🔥
Was so nice today to meet , Tania and also low key fangirling when I realised I was speaking to the talented !
If I had to think of a quote today it would be “Women Empower Women” 🥰 The best vibes! Which brings me to my Sunday question; who is your hype Queen/King and why? Would love to hear!

Finding your Why?
When I start a new journey in any aspect of my life I always start with this question and it’s so important. More than what you may realise. When starting any journey (health and fitness, career, finance goals, relationship goals) the main questions to ask yourself are

-Why do I want to achieve these goals?
- How will I feel physically, mentally and emotionally when I have achieved these goals
- How will I feel if I don’t achieve these goals?

And most of all….. WRITE THEM DOWN! From there; keep them in a place you will see daily. Do you put it as your wallpaper on your phone? Maybe as a post it note on your laptop or in your car?
From there; let the journey begin babyyyy 🥳

A good training session is not only one that is consistent; but one where you are challenged and have FUN!
💛🖤💛
The amazing team at Flex Fitness Howick] have invited me to attend their Skill Athletic classes this week and oh my goodness……. Now I’m know what the hype is all about!
Along with feeling challenged and pushing my own limits; I was impressed with the class structure, how knowledgeable the instructors were and how everything was broken down for all levels to understand. When I think about the equipment the first word that comes to mind is boujeeeeeeeee 🧡 and my body after two classes is already feeling tender in places I didn’t know existed 😂
If you live in the Howick and East Auckland area and are looking to push your training into a new dimension I would highly reccomend getting in touch with Stephanie and the team at Flex Fitness Howick] to try this for yourself.

It was an exercise that become a hobby
It was a hobby that left me feeling strong and empowered.
It was a hobby that became a sport where I wanted to grow and develop my skill. To show others the same satisfaction and feeling after a good workout.
With that being said dates are now locked and loaded baby 🥳 I’m over the moon to now be booked in to go through the course in June!!! 🎉🎉 I’m really looking forward to this two day course as I’m a firm believer in that you should never stop learning. To not only strengthen my skills as a boxer; but to coach others and to show people why I love this sport so much
So bring on June! 🎉🎉 After this I will be evaluating my calendar and opening up some slots for some 1 on 1 and group style classes so watch this space 😏
As always thank you for always being in my corner and pushing me to be the best that I can.
