🍰 Something Sweet for the Soul 💛

We’re thrilled to welcome Good Bi***es Baking (GBB) to the Bay of Islands!

This incredible volunteer group is all about spreading kindness through home baking. Every week, their team of good-hearted bakers whip up delicious homemade treats, which are then delivered to people going through tough times — including our Hospice patients and their carers.

It’s a small gesture that brings a little sunshine to some of life’s darker days. ✨

We’re so grateful to be one of the charities supported by Good Bi***es Baking, and we’re excited to see their Bay of Islands chapter officially open!

The Swordfish Club is the heart of the action — home to the event’s social hub and the much-anticipated Fish Auction, where the community comes together to bid on the day’s catch and support Hospice care across the Mid North.

🎨 A Fresh New Look Thanks to Northland Painting! 💙

A huge thank you to Northland Painting for their incredible work repainting our Kerikeri Hospice Shop!

From the first brushstroke to the final handover, the team went above and beyond to make sure the building looks absolutely stunning. Special thanks to Simone and her hardworking crew for ensuring every detail was perfect, Campbell (the company owner) for generously adding extra coats of paint at no cost to us, and Brendan, the Project Manager, for his great communication and care throughout the project.

The result? A fresh, bright new exterior that truly reflects the spirit of our Hospice community — warm, welcoming, and full of life. 💛

When our Hospice driveway needed serious work, the Keriland team stepped up and made it happen — offering an amazing rate and then going even further to reduce the cost, ensuring we could complete the project while keeping funds focused on patient care.
