Hospice Mid-Northland

Hospice Mid-Northland Ph 09 407 7799. admin@hospicemn.org.nz Care and support to those facing a life-limiting illness and to their family/whanau.

Hospice Mid-Northland is an incorporated society registered under the Charities Act 2005 and is partly funded by the Government, with the remainder sourced from donations and fundraising. We cover the area from Towai in the south to Taupo Bay in the north, and coast-to-coast in between, including South Hokianga. In the earlier days, we supported small numbers of families and this has risen to over 220 families annually since 2018. We have four retail stores, please donate to us. Donations can be dropped at the Green Shed @ 464 Kerikeri Road or we can pick up furniture to sell in our Furniture Shop.

Spotlight on Sponsors

A huge thank you to the Blue Heelers Charity Fishing Tournament for choosing Hospice Mid Northland as this year’s charity partner. The community support across the event has made a real difference for our patients and whānau.

We also want to recognise Cater Marine for their generous contribution to the Monster Raffle and for standing behind the tournament and Hospice again next year.

The dates for the 2025 Blue Heelers Tournament are now locked in. Keep an eye out for early registration details and help us raise vital funds for Hospice Mid Northland again next year.

Thank you to everyone involved. Your support helps keep our specialist palliative care service free for the Mid North.

Please check your donation bags before dropping them to us.

Our volunteers reach into every bag by hand. Last week, a bag of clothing arrived with large kitchen knives hidden inside. This put our team at real risk.

We rely on you to keep donations safe.

• Remove knives, blades, needles, broken glass or any sharp items.
• Do not send soiled or wet clothing.
• Pack fragile or risky items separately.
• Only donate items that are clean and suitable for resale.

Your care protects our volunteers and helps us keep running strong for our community.
