After many wonderful years of caring for our community, we are announcing the closure of our clinic at 583 High Street and our official amalgamation with Pacific Radiology.

This decision marks the next chapter in providing you with high-quality care, now through Pacific Radiology’s comprehensive services across their Wellington locations.

👉 All breast services are now available at Pacific Radiology locations in Wellington.
👉 If you had an appointment scheduled with us for 2025 and haven’t re-booked yet, please contact Pacific Radiology at 0800 674 722 to arrange your new appointment.
👉 Our email and phone lines are no longer being monitored. For any inquiries, Pacific Radiology’s team is ready to assist you.

We deeply appreciate the trust you’ve placed in us and the relationships we’ve built with you over the years. While this transition may come as a surprise, we are confident that Pacific Radiology will continue to provide you with the exceptional care you deserve.

I had a phone call last week from the Breast Institute New Zealand I was driving at the time so needed to call back and I forgot 🤯 🥺

My doctor nudged me that the report they had on file was from 2020 and I knew that wasn't right so I got on an booked my mam0gram.

This is your fiercely loving reminder to book the screening you need. Also looking at you too men folk/people

You are precious, you are loved and if screening can pick up early changes it means we get to have you in person for much longer and that is priceless. 🩷💚🩵💜

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

It's a perfect time to ask yourself: Have you checked your breasts recently?

Regular self-exams are vital, and if you notice anything unusual, book an appointment with your GP. Your GP can then refer you to us for breast imaging to investigate your symptoms further.

Even if everything feels normal, don’t forget—if you're due for a mammogram, now’s the time to book it! Mammograms can pick up cancer as small as 2mm, before you are able to feel a lump!

Breast Density Matters!

Did you know that breast density can make it harder to detect cancer and also increases the risk? Understanding and reporting breast density is crucial for early detection and better patient outcomes.

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) has a new blog post about breast density, highlighting why it's important for both women and their healthcare providers.
