Hello! I'm Vonny Lauren, a Certified Relationship Coach trained by Laura Doyle, the author of "The Empowered Wife."
I used to think love meant a 50/50 equal partnership, doing everything together, and having deep conversations about everything. When I first met my husband, that’s exactly how it felt. But somewhere along the journey, he withdrew, and I became stressed and unhappy. When things got challenging, I would lean in hard, and he would pull away.
It was painful and disconnecting. I was exhausted and started to resent his apathy.
Things changed after I was recommended "The Empowered Wife" book. Reading through those pages, I realised I wasn’t alone, and that there was a method to help me get my relationship back on track. I wanted in on all the respect, reconnection, and intimacy the author talked about!
I booked 10 sessions with a Coach, and it was a beautiful time of self-discovery. She made me feel validated and guided me to learn which skills to apply to which challenges. It was an incredibly transforming time.
Now, I’m thrilled to be able to share things have completely turned around in my home. I feel more in control of my life than ever before. I feel more in love than ever before. I look forward to my husband walking through the door each day. My emotions no longer dictate the outcome of my day. I choose intimacy over control as often as I can.
I have a clear vision for how I want to show up. I consciously step back and allow the men in my life to step into their masculinity, and I can embrace my authentic self without the stress of organising everything and everyone. I love applying the skills to my parenting and am so happy my home is now a light, safe space full of laughter and playfulness.
I’m so grateful that I was introduced to these skills! They have shown me an alternative to what I knew. It is my absolute pleasure to have Laura Doyle as my marriage mentor and to have been extensively trained by her as a Relationship Coach. Now, I am excited be able to help other women experience the transformation they desire!
