One of our favorite, albeit sometimes slightly tear jerking, parts about working through your entry forms is reading why you have joined the 20 Week Challenge.
Here's 10 of the latest reasons that you have given us.
1. I would like to get fit have fun along the way try to show others that you can exercise and have fun doing it and that we all can get out there and try new things. I would like to try and drop my body fat down also and just live a much healthier lifestyle in my old age.
2. Get into healthy weight range, keep fitness up, tone up, improve hip flexibility.
3. To be the strongest and fittest I've ever been in my life.
4. Increase body strength and up my fitness for the Spring Challenge. Also tone body up and lose weight
5. I want to feel better about myself by ensuring I put myself first by exercising on a regular basis, and also by taking action to improve the food choices I make.
6. To lose the last few kgs and get a good start on my marathon training :-)
7. Confidence with new skills/ adventures, situations etc, pushing the boundaries in life out a bit further, meeting new people. Enjoyment and fun. Weightloss.
8. Get back on track with my fitness and be as fit and lighter as I became during the 20 week challenge and stay on track the whole duration and then maintain it afterwards.
9. I want to be able to get to the top on all of the climbs at clip and climb
10. Gain confidence, self love and strength as well as improve my fitness. I want to not feel like the biggest person in the room.
It's tear jerking by the way because we know that all of you can and probably will achieve those goals, that we'll get to hear about your journey on the way, the good, the bad and the ugly, we'll see your report at the end of the 20 Weeks and we'll get teary again seeing your successes on paper, and then we may get to meet your smiley self at the Awards night and give you a congratulatory hug and maybe we even see you on the podium or maybe we just get to wave to and clap and cheers as you come through a finish line, conquer a climb, tag us into your wedding picture or do the splits for the first time.
