Even though Black Friday is far removed from my natural habitat, I want to paradoxically offer something grounded, genuine, and helpful - unlike a toaster “on sale” for a price it was never sold at.

This time of year tends to expose exactly where we’re at. We’re replaying the “Hasn’t the year gone fast?” script whilst hoping the next one lands with more meaning or success. And for many, this season feels less like a holiday and more like emotional molasses.

So before we all limp toward the year-end finish line, the last mince pie in hand, a nine-year cycle wrapping up, endings knotting themselves, and planetary poltergeists doing their thing - I want this to land now amidst the rapid change and disorientation as it might just help someone.

This morning during a practice, I noticed something familiar with curiosity - the urge to shrink back in the presence of certain voices - the ones that carry an energy of ‘knowing better.’

For a moment I felt the old pull to silence and the slap of shame. It struck me that sometimes we aren’t just speaking different opinions, we’re speaking different languages altogether. And I’m not referring to ‘love languages.’ I mean science versus creative, symbolic versus energetic, rational versus intuitive, fire versus water… and so on.

This eclipse season wants us to notice where old conditioning still has a grip by pulling us away from values, what matters to us, and to choose differently. It’s an opportunity to fall in love with our autonomy, trust the truth we already carry, and remember that others are speaking their own language too.

All truths are the truth, and your truth belongs uniquely to you. The more you live from it, the lighter you become - stepping into the future with the wisdom from the past.

These sessions have returned after many of you reached out looking for support through loss, uncertainty, and the weight of what’s been left unsaid.

Grief can feel like being frozen in time and it's a form of abandonment. Like life has stopped, but the pain hasn’t. Sometimes, it’s not just the loss itself, but the questions left behind that weigh the heaviest and before we know it, we're the ones who are ghosts in our own lives by existing inside a holding pattern.
