Greetings To Our Community,

Whether you are male or female, at different times in our lives, most of us have tried the latest trend in diets. Post pregnancy, menopausal weight gain, change in diet or medication, sometimes it feels like an endless quest to lose weight and keep it off.
Come along and join us on Monday 8th June at 6pm at Health Ngatea or Wednesday June 10th 6pm at Health Te Aroha where
Dr. Hayley Scott will present an educational evening " Lose the Weight, Gain a Lifestyle".
Perhaps you are interested in knowing what your current options are? Gain an understanding of how the medicine works in order to assist you in making an informed decision, in conjunction with a Clinical Consultation.
Lets discuss options to create a lifestyle that assists you in maintaining your goal weight without medication.

Entry is by donation which will be gifted to both Volunteer Fire Brigades in Ngatea and Te Aroha.
Catering supplied for Health Ngatea by Subway Ngatea thanks
to Novo Nordisk.

Greetings To Our Community,

It's that time of the year again where we are running Flu Clinics to protect against the Influenza Virus.
We will be running these Clinics at the Practice once again, at the covered area out the front of the building. Clinics will be available on the 8th, 14th and 15th of April. We will also be offering the Covid Booster to all those that are eligible at the same time that you have your flu shot.
Free Influenza vaccinations, using the funded influenza vaccine brand ( Influvac Tetra ), are available for high-risk individuals who meet Pharmac eligibility criteria. Influvac Tetra can also be purchased by those who do not meet the Pharmac criteria.

Please give us a call on 07 86 77 521 to book your spot.

What About Controlled Drugs?

Medications like strong painkillers or sleeping pills are not included in 12 monthly prescribing. These still require regular reviews, usually every 1-3 months.

The Breast Cancer Foundation NZ have this bright pink motorhome that travels the country every year to meet women in the area they live in.
This service exists because 1 in 9 New Zealand women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Bringing the campervan to communities helps to ensure people can get access to life-saving information as early detection is the key.
People can pop into the Pink Campervan Breast Nurses and chat about anything from breast changes and mammograms to family risk and general breast health awareness. No appointment is needed and everyone is welcome.
