🌳 4-Minute Journal Challenge 🎨✨

Today’s creative play: drawing a tree scene with four layers, each made in one minute using a different art material — pencil, pastel, pen, paint… whatever called to me. 🌈 Then a 5-minute round, with the final minute to fill and finesse.

Inspired by the ever-inspiring who reminds us that creativity thrives in play, not perfection. 💫

Sometimes we just need to loosen up, breathe, and let the marks tell their own story. I needed this today. 💕

✨Girls’ Creative Weekend — Waikanae Edition!✨

Weekend mode: ON 🎨🌿
Lisa Conroy - Living the Sweet Life and I have escaped to Waikanae for a few days of art, laughter, and inspiration — and of course, the Kāpiti Coast Art Trail!

Tonight we kicked things off by starting a large collaborative canvas (and maybe a little wine 🍷😉). Paints out, ideas flowing, creativity buzzing — it’s already feeling like something special.

Can’t wait to see what unfolds over the weekend — both on the canvas and out on the trail 💕

Stay tuned… it’s going to get colourful! 🎨🌸

🌸 What. A. Weekend! 🌸

Art Trail Manawatū — you were absolutely fabulous! 💕 Two full days of colour, conversation, creativity, and the most amazing people stopping by The Grove. I’m still buzzing from all the love, laughs, and beautiful feedback (and yes… lots of art + journals heading off to new homes 🥰).

A massive thank you to my gorgeous besties Lisa Conroy and Robyn Mourie for being the dream team all weekend — and to my wonderful husband Bill for keeping us fuelled and hydrated like a champ. 💪💦

So many of you asked about future art workshops (yay!) — keep an eye out 👀 as I’ll be announcing new Art & Soul sessions for next year soon. And… if you loved the vibe of Cool Change, just wait until you see what Lisa and I are co-creating next! 🎨✨
