Special shout out to one of our patients this week, Milo Skipper.

Congratulations on your success last weekend fighting in Auckland at Mana FC and being awarded the Tojo Dixon Cup. Brilliant work and a great representation of the work ethos and excellence of the team at Rob Horrocks Hurto Gym.

Our Acupuncturist, Jingying Jazmin Woo helped to prepare Milo for his debut, showing how much of a positive impact acupuncture care can have with support fighters. Great work Jazz.

Starting in October, Meg Davidson will be joining the Queenstown Health team new Physiotherapist and taking over from Mark Sheehy.

"Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, my love for the outdoors and passion for health and movement were shaped early on. Playing competitive tennis for many years gave me a firsthand understanding of both the power and fragility of the human body. After experiencing my own musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries, I developed a deep respect for the rehabilitation process—not just the physical recovery, but the emotional resilience it demands.

That personal journey led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town. Working in South Africa’s healthcare system was incredibly rewarding and taught me the value of innovation, empathy, and adaptability in resource-limited settings.

What truly motivates me is seeing people rediscover what their bodies are capable of—especially when they’ve been told otherwise. I’m passionate about working in rehabilitation, particularly in neuromuscular, orthopaedic, and neurological conditions, and I strive to bring both empathy and clinical expertise to every person I work with"

We are excited to have Meg joining our team and bringing her skill sets to our team.

Today is the last day to one of our team members, Mark Sheehy.

Mark, you have been a brilliant member of the Queenstown health team and have brought a positivity and humour that only an Irish man can. You have contributed to Queenstown Health in many ways, both as a clinician and as a mentor to members of our team. You been valued and we know wherever you go you will be a valued team member.

That’s a wrap on another epic season, and we’re beyond proud to support the champs from behind the scenes.

For over 20 years, Queenstown Health has stood alongside the Stampede. This year, Chiropractor Cole Mackie and Physiotherapist Sophia Kersten carried that legacy forward with dedication, grit, and care.

Working with athletes means long hours, tough challenges, and quiet victories. But moments like this—watching the boys lift the Birgel Cup—make it all worth it. 🙌

Another Grand Final locked in for the SKYCITY Stampede, as always it is a privilege to provide Chiropractic (Cole Mackie) and Physiotherapy (Sophia Kersten) services to the Stampede boys during trainings and games throughout the season.

With last night's win the boys are heading to finals. Now we wait to see who we play
