A beautiful, fresh result for our young client who wanted to add overall volume while keeping her lips soft, balanced and natural.

When working with younger lips, the focus is often on enhancing natural shape and symmetry, rather than correction or rejuvenation. In this case, we’ve created gentle volume and improved definition while maintaining harmony with her natural facial features.

Hyaluronic acid dermal filler was used to subtly plump and hydrate the lips - enhancing structure without stiffness or an “overfilled” look. The goal is always natural enhancement, not transformation.

We are so grateful for everyone who came together this past Saturday for our fundraiser for the Women’s Refuge – a kaupapa so close to our hearts.

A huge ngā mihi nui to all the businesses who donated, and everyone who contributed items for our garage sale. Your generosity and aroha made this day possible, and we couldn’t have done it without you. 🙏✨

Thanks to your support, we were able to raise over $2,000 – through donations, vouchers, and garage sale profits – to help wāhine and their whānau. Every dollar will make a real difference in creating safety, hope, and strength.

It truly takes a village – and we are so thankful for ours. 💛

We know times are tough for everyone right now - which is exactly why we’ve chosen to do this.

We’re hosting a garage sale fundraiser here at Athena in support of Waiariki Women’s Refuge with 100% of proceeds going directly to support local wāhine and whānau in need.

Instead of asking for money, we’re asking for donations - the everyday things that might be sitting in your garage, cupboards, or storage that could go on to help someone else in a big way.

This kaupapa is close to our hearts. At Athena, we work every day to help women feel strong, safe, and seen - and this is one small way we can extend that support beyond the clinic walls.

🛍️ There are TWO ways to donate:

1️⃣ Drop-off items to be gifted directly to women and families in need
These will not be sold, but passed directly to those in crisis through Waiariki Women’s Refuge:

🍼 Baby items – formula, nappies, baby food, shampoo, body wash
🛏️ Bedding – including used towels and sheets (also helpful for animals)
🥫 Food – fresh or non-perishable
🐾 Animal food – for pets in crisis
👗 Clothing – all clothing will be donated, not sold

2️⃣ Donate good quality household items to be sold at the garage sale

All items sold will go towards raising funds, with 100% of proceeds donated to Waiariki Women’s Refuge.

This patient underwent chin augmentation using dermal filler to improve lower facial balance and enhance profile proportions. By addressing volume deficiency in the chin, we were able to achieve a more defined side profile with minimal intervention.
