Anyone else stoked with the cost of produce lately? It’s so cheap to get your vitamin c shot 🙌🏼

Why bother?
➡️ helps fight infections
➡️ important for many body functions
➡️ helps with iron absorption
➡️ help maintain eye health
➡️ helps decrease your risk of chronic diseases
➡️ soooooo many more reasons…

This is a diverse vegetable that is a good source of vitamin A, folate and potassium 👐🏼

Super easy to use ~ mixed through a stir fry or thrown into a veggie soup are two of my favourite ways to use this veggie 🍜

Welcoming 2021 by making some homemade hummus ✨ I used my new recipe book that I’m grateful to have received for a Christmas present 💝 but easy enough to do at home yourself without a recipe 🙌🏼 Chuck some canned or pre-soaked chickpeas into a food processor with some garlic, salt and couple of tbsp of oil & water and there’s your base. Add in your own favourite flavours such as roast beetroot, carrot or kumara or simply try ginger and lemon 🍋 and within minutes you’ll have a protein packed, high fibre snack to pair with some veggie sticks 🥕 🥦•
