Beautiful smells and sounds of the bees enjoying themselves today at the Christchurch Lavender farm. Wonderful to have a combined outing with Elms Court Village residents and listening to owner Pete who spoke with us about the lavender and history of the farm.

Great men’s group today, out on the lawn in the sun playing a very competitive game of Pétanque. Followed by a well earned ice cream.
We were very fortunate to have some lovely young lads both yesterday and today to volunteer their time to come along and help out.
They helped take down Christmas decorations yesterday with some of the residents and today they tried their best to compete against the men in Pétanque.
It was so nice to see the interaction between the twins and our residents.

Fantastic afternoon today….. ice creams out at Littleton to see the huge Cruise ship the Anthem of the sea. If you look closely you can see a huge arm with a glass ball on the end. This is an observation platform. We watched people go in and then the arm go up to 91 meters above sea level. Fascinating to see.

Today’s silliness and fun. The staff and residents performed A Christmas Pantomime…. Such talent and outstanding performers lol! Don’t they all look the part. Thank you to Riki and Maranda for letting us talk you into it.
A huge thank you to our wonderful residents, Pam, Kaye, Richard, Annette and Colleen(who got roped in at the last minute) you were all such good sports and did a great job of bringing some Christmas joy to all our residents.
And of course our Scrooge was so convincing the residents didn’t realise it was Julie lol. Well done everyone!
