These wonderful seven ladies shopped till the dropped. We went to the three op shops in Hornby and there were some wonderful bargains purchased.
Very happy ladies.
Shopping is thirsty work so we called into MacDonald’s on the way back for a milkshake or ice cream sundae.

We made Pork dumplings from scratch!!! They were lovely! None of us had ever tried to make dumplings before but we thought we would give it a go as it is Chinese New Year! One of the staff (Pabi) very kindly showed us how to roll them nicely.

Stunning day today for a trip to the Botanical Gardens to feed the ducks. There may or may not have been ice creams consumed also!
It was so lovely relaxing under the trees and watching all the mums and children out and about and of course looking at the gardens.

We had our ladies pamper spas again today. It is so nice to do a wee bit of spoiling our lovely ladies. They deserve it!...

We had our ladies pamper spas again today. It is so nice to do a wee bit of spoiling our lovely ladies. They deserve it! We had massage machines, hot hands towels and hand massages, manicures and nail painting. One had her nails painted for the first time in 30 years and another went for racey red. A few yummy nibbles and a nice drink to add to the relaxation. Some lovely conversation and great company.

Happy Chinese New Year! The year of the horse! Today we learnt about some traditional Chinese customs and how the Chinese celebrate the new year. Then we bravely gave origami a go. We went with a simple boat(as a horse was way too difficult). I have to say origami is not easy but everyone successfully made a boat. We now have about 15 boats to launch into the new year. Well done everyone!
