For something a little different today we looked at Pablo Picasso’s art. His very unique style where anything goes. Then we played a game of roll the dice and we all tried our own interpretation of each face feature. It’s amazing we all drew from the same plan yet all came up with unique designs.

Hello everyone, Jodie here, just a few random photos to share with you all of our journey so far. We are having a wonderful holiday. Been to Singapore and then Tokyo and now in Osaka. We have been to Disneyland, Disney sea and Universal studios. We have seen so many amazing things, very sore feet from so much walking. Can’t wait to see you all and hope you are all doing well.

Today we had a combined outing with our friends from Elms Court Village to Bupa Parkstone to hear their amazing choir. Thank you so much to Lorraine and the residents at Parkstone for putting on such a wonderful afternoon for us. The singing and piano accompaniment was beautiful.🎶🤗

Today we were celebrating Greek history and cuisine so our van outing included a quick stop at Mykonos Cafe for some lovely treats and then a walk and afternoon tea in the beautiful rose garden at Mona Vale. An extra treat was seeing the water lillies in bloom.

Happy St Patrick’s day! It was so amazing to see so many staff and residents take on the Irish spirit yesterday. Best dressed male resident went to Les and best dressed lady went to Margaret. Loveliest dress went to Glenda, who looked stunning in her green dress. Best dressed staff went to Serena and Evangeline, who went to so much trouble with their amazing out fits. Every single one of the cleaning team dressed in green and they looked amazing. We played potato/pumpkin bowls and Irish coin toss. It was such a fun filled day. Top of the morning to you!
